| Gliscor has great synergy with tyranitar. he can switch in to take those tough fighting/ground/bug type moves that threaten him.
Item: Toxic Orb Ability: Poison Heal
Moves: Subsitute Toxic Earthquake Ice Fang
Toxic and subsitute with poison heal make a great stall for pokemon that lack special attack power. he can withstand most physical attackers and kill them slowly with toxic. Earthquake gets a mighty STAB and as for flying types, Ice fang should deal with them.

| I'll add the gliscor but a dugtrio isnt that useful on a sand team, its to frail and is gliscor is just more bulky | |

| You can put a Jellicent in there to take care of ice, fighting and water attacks
Jellicent (F) @ Leftovers Ability:Water Absorb EVs: 252 HP / 36 Def / 220 SDef Nature: Calm
- Recover - Toxic - Scald - Shadow Ball

| Flygon is good in UU but in OU I think a scarf landorus does better. How about adding a RP Genesect
Genesect @Expert Belt Modest Nature (+SAtk,-Atk) EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
- Rock Polish - Ice Beam - Flamethrower - Giga Drain / Thunderbolt

| yea i agree RK but the reason i chose Flygon is because with tyranitar, gliscor, and jellicent, we have half of the same team that everyone else in the OU tier does. we're creating a team so we need to try and be original. with that said, genesect is out of the question. | |

| How about Alakazam? @Life Orb Psyshock shadow ball focus blast HP ice 252 Spa/252 Spe/4 Spe
He takes no sand damage, and he can be the special sweeper of the team. With HP ice he can take out some dragon types.

| It would be possible that make a stallteam with 2 cleaners, that are Band Tyranitar and another poke (maybe Stoutland). jellicent-Gliscor as a basic stallcore works pretty well, what we could add there is a ferrothorn AND/OR Heatran, so you get rocks (Heatran) and spikes (Ferrothorn). After this Tyranitar and the second cleaner are actually able to beat up teams. Another choice would be a semi stall team, but then we'd need to run a celebi or lati@s not to be weak to special landorus which is a threat nowadays. So if we run that i would use TTar/Celebi/Jellicent/Terrakion/Skarmory or Forretress/Rotom-wash. Should actually take care of the most of the meta. Possible would also be Latios > Rotom, but if we do so we could use Shaymin > Celebi not to lose synergy (psychic/psychic). In general I like the basic idea of the team, but we need speed so we should use something that can take care of quite a lot threats we have and that has speed at the same time. Sooo I'd say either Scarf Terrakion (beats Volcarona, sun, Genesect), Scarf keldeo (beats rain, Genesect [check], special Landorus [at full health]). Both pretty popular in the meta, we could also use something less expected like Scarf Jirachi or Scarf Latios (both with trick), but if we decide to do so we could use spikes + SR to force the opponent to switch when they bring in a poke that used to wall your scarf-tricker, so it'd be like a semi stall team with an alternate cleaner. :] | |

| Hippo is always good but I prefer ttar for winning weather wars since it resists fire (sun) and it gets the big SpD raise which makes it more immune to water (rain) while ice doesn't do much anyways (hail). Hippo can take those too, I used it very often in the end of BW1. But I wouldn't like it as much anymore because it's mostly setup-fodder for RP Genesect and also weak to Keldeo's water moves as rain is also more common nowadays. We could use band ttar AND SR hippo, that'd be the classic double sand core but I haven't played it for a while, guess we'd need to try it out. ~ | |

| But doesn't the sandstorm increase every steel-, rock-, and ground-type's sp. def by .5x? If that's true we could have a physical sweeper or something for those steel types. | |

If that's true we could have a physical sweeper or something for those steel types. No it's only rock types that get the spdef boost
