For Tyranitar, replace Block with Pursuit, seeing as most things are going to switch out like Psychic types not wanting to take a Crunch. Basically like everyone else said Block is a worthless move since most people will just switch out. So here are some other sets you can try
Special Defensive Lead
Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 80 SAtk / 176 SDef
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Crunch / Roar / Thunder Wave
- Stone Edge / Crunch / Pursuit
- Fire Blast / Flamethrower / Ice Beam
Choice Band
Tyranitar (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 112 HP / 252 Atk / 144 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Pursuit
- Crunch
- Stone Edge
- Fire Punch / Ice Punch / Superpower
Moving on to Terakion,it looks good, but a Rock Polish Life Orb set may also work,as it outspeeds Choice Scarfed Genesect, opposing Terrakion, and is a great late game sweeper because you can now use a Adamant nature instead of Jolly.
Rock Polish
Terrakion @ Life Orb
Trait: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd or 208 Hp / 252 Atk / 44 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Rock Polish
- Stone Edge
- Close Combat
- Earthquake / X-Scissor / Substitute / Swords Dance
The first set of EVs allow you to outspeed threats like Heatran and such without a Rock Polish, while the second set of EVs need you to setup a Rock Polish but allow you to take hits much more easier.
I will recommend you a Xatu over a Espeon seeing as it resist both Grass and Fighting(basically Breloom, which your team is very wel to Techniloom sets.)
Defensive Xatu
Xatu (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 HP / 176 Def / 80 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Thunder Wave
- Roost
- Heat Wave
- U-turn / Psychic
It can already outspeed a standard Scizor and OHKO the Steel types that like to setup Stealth Rocks and Spike with Heat Wave. You can use Thunder Wave to paralyze incoming Scarfed Genesect and then OHKO them aswell with Heat Wave.
Because Explosion has been nerfed down since Gen 5 began,so its basically a waste of a move now, plus give your Ferrothorn as little as speed wit a Brave,Relaxed or Sassy nature with no Speed IVs,si nce the slower that hazard setter the better since it can always setup a hazard after it is Spinned away. Replace Explosion with either Gyro Ball or Powerwhip or give it both, also adding Leech Seed always helps.
I'd replace Infernape,it does more harm then good, since Rain teams give issues to Sand teams a Rotom-W will always help. So here is a set I'd recomend.
Choice Specs
Rotom (Rotom-W) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 32 Def / 252 SAtk / 224 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Trick
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power Grass / Hidden Power Ice
This set is best for opposing Politoed seeing as it can OHKO all sets with a Volt Switch. Hydro Pump is for a powerful STAB while HP Grass hits Gastrodon and Swampert. HP Ice hits Dragonite and overconfident Breloom. With the EVs you can outspeed non boosted Dragonite and Jolly Breloom.
Finally for Salamence I'd replace Fire Fang for Flamethrower or Fire Blast, seeing as even a +1 Atk Fire Fang does less damage then a Flamethrower to a Skarmory, and a replace Rock /slide for Earthquake, seeing as Dragon Claw takes out anything else.
